Summary

 

Pratt Institute's 3D print centre, like any other print farm, creates a lot of waste. Supports, failed prints, spools that don't have enough material to print, etc all get thrown out. So I sought out a way to reuse those scraps, and I ended up having fun by creating a unique piece for myself. The beauty of the process is that your results will vary everytime depending on the stock waste, the mould, the heat, etc.
