Giraffes and Gnocchi

Summary
Slipcasting was my entry into ceramics. A medium that I've always been curious about. We were tasked with designing 2 objects- the first had to be a 1 part mould, and the second had to be a vessel.
I designed the Gnocchi pad simply because it was small, and moulded quickly. It also helped me experiment with glazes en masse. The Giraffe to me was purely a form exercise, and it helped me tap into my more experimentative side.
It came down to 2 SKUs but I decided to make only the more organic version to truly allow time for experimentation.
There were definitely spills and breaks along the way, but I was happy with the results.
